During this uncertain time, please know we have the best interest of our community at heart. While our office hours have returned to normal, our processes have changed from what you may have previously experienced with us, but please know we are taking necessary precautions to ensure our team and our patients stay as safe and healthy as possible.
Here’s what we are doing differently:
Wearing N99 carbon filter face coverings and/or using breath shields in all patient interaction
Using breathing shields on exam room equipment
Washing and/or sanitizing hands between each patient interaction and multiple other times
Checking body temperatures of all Optix team members daily
Cleaning all high touch employee surfaces multiple times daily
Cleaning all high touch patient areas between each patient
Asking screening questions to all patients and performing pre check-in processes over the phone
Asking patients to remain in their vehicles until they are escorted directly into an exam room for their appointment
Asking patients to come to their appointment unaccompanied unless a caretaker, driver or guardian is necessary
Checking body temperatures of all patients and sanitizing hands before patients enter the building
Requiring patients to wear face coverings while inside the building
Designating individual spaces in our optical area for each patient and optician to work within during lens consultations and frame try-on
Sanitizing all frames patients have tried on prior to returning them to our optical shelves
Using in-office waiting areas minimally but allowing for appropriate social distancing if it becomes necessary to use these areas
Asking patients to call ahead to purchase supplements, pick-up glasses or pick out glasses
Providing easy over-the-phone payment options for supplement, glasses and contact lens purchases
Providing curb-side service for all supplement purchases, glasses pick-up and adjustments
Regular office hours are Monday and Tuesdays 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. Wednesday 9:30 am – 3:00 pm. Thursday and Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
